Microneedling by Rejuvapen

What is RejuvaPen?
The Rejuvapen is a remarkable, non-laser, non-surgical treatment that causes skin to stimulate collagen production and fresh, new tissue. Skin tightens; wrinkles, fine lines, scarring, and hyperpigmentation significantly diminish; pores become finer; and the overall health and circulation of the skin is improved.
Who Should Use RejuvaPen?
RejuvaPen is most commonly used to treat acne scarring, but it can be used for many different types of scarring on other parts of the body. For example, stretch marks, which are a type of scar, can be treated with RejuvaPen. RejuvaPen has also been used for melasma, which can’t be treated with lasers.
Microneedling is a treatment that can be used on all skin types. It:
• Minimizes Pore Size
• Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles
• Lifts, Tightens, and Rejuvenates skin, Builds New Collagen and Elastin
• Improves appearance of Acne Scarring
• Improves Hyperpigmentation
• Activates Cell Regeneration

What Should I Expect?
Rejuvapen utilizes precisely spaced micro needles in a small cartridge to create invisible, vertical, micro perforations into the top layers of the skin. As a result the skin shifts its natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin. The self-repairing property of the skin is a 100% natural form of skin renewal. Adjustable needle length from .2 to 2.5mm allows customized treatments from skin freshening to deep scar repair anywhere on the body. Skin becomes firmer and regains its elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced, pores become firmer, circulation is stimulated and the overall condition of the skin improves.
After the initial microneedling treatment, patients often notice that their skin has a healthy pink glow and that fine lines are diminished. Skin naturally takes roughly four weeks to synthesize new collagen, but it is not until about four months that patients can see the full effect of Rejuvapen treatments. It is suggested that patients receive four treatments, spaced at least two weeks apart.

How Is Rejuvapen Different From a Laser Treatment?
Rejuvapen treats superficial scars. A laser penetrates deeper into the skin, while the Rejuvapen corrects surface scarring, like acne scars. That means, if your scars aren’t very deep, this treatment may work best.
What Areas Are Typical for Microneedling Treatments?
Rejuvapen is recommended primarily for your face — either to improve scarring or to tighten small areas of loose skin. It works on your forehead, cheeks, lower eyelids, chin, and jaw line. Medical Microneedling can be used on all skin parts of the body (neck, décolleté, arms, legs and face.)
How Many Procedures Does It Take to See Results?
We start with a series of 3-4 treatments, and then reevaluate based on the results we see. If you want to continue to work on the area, we’ll continue with further treatments. Every scar is different, so the total number of treatments varies.
How Do You Get Started on Rejuvapen?
If you think Rejuvapen may be right for you, please give us a call and make a consultation appointment. One of our estheticians will meet with you to answer your questions, discuss the price, and recommend the number of treatments you’ll need.
How Much Does Rejuvapen Cost?
The exact price depends on the area treated and the number of treatments you need.
How Long Do the Results Last?
RejuvaPen isn’t like other temporary cosmetic procedures that require maintenance. RejuvaPen is about ongoing improvement.
You’re likely to see incremental improvement with each session. After completing the series, many clients continue with one or two additional sessions because they’re so happy with the results.
In other words, patients don’t come back because of a regression. They come back because they see the improvement and want to continue the progress.
